Deer loin, seasoned and larded with bacon, goes well with mashed potatoes. This decadent meat dish with a wow factor is simply perfect for special occasions.

2 slices
salt

thyme
2 sprigs
lemon

parsley root
1 pcs
deer loin
0.4 kg
melted pork lard
4 tbs
red wine
100 ml

Preparation

  1. Oil the meat and the baking dish and season to taste.
  2. Lard the meat with bacon and line with sliced vegetables.
  3. Pour with 1-2 dl water and red wine. Baste the meat with the juices it releases during roasting.
