Are you looking for an alternative for a perfect dinner roast? Use a veal shoulder. Give it some extra flavour with bacon, spices and pickles and your palate won't be disappointed.

Ingredients


salt
½ tsp
parsley
2 pinches
pepper
1 pinch
veal shoulder
0.4 kg
marjoram
1 pinch
pickles (pickled gherkins)
4 pcs
bacon
2 slices
vegetable oil
4 tbs

Preparation

  1. Oil the meat and the baking dish and season to taste. Lard meat with bacon and slices of pickles/gherkins.
  2. Add 1-2 dl water and baste the meat with the juices it releases during roasting.
