You will easily obtain restaurant-quality results from your home oven with this simple dinner recipe for braised beef roast.

Ingredients

tomato paste

vegetable oil

beef shoulder
0.4 kg
green bell pepper
1 pcs
red bell pepper
1 pcs
brussels sprouts
150 g
parsley root
1 pcs

For the sauce:
white wheat flour
1 tbs
sour cream
2 tbs

Preparation

  1. Oil the meat and the baking dish and season to taste. Line with sliced vegetables and add tomato paste.
  2. Add 3-4 dl water and cover the baking dish.
  3. Prepare the sauce. When the meat is cooked, thicken the meat juices with a mixture of flour whisked into a few spoons of hot juices released from the meat. Mix in sour cream just before serving.
