Rich fruit cake

A simple but rich fruit cake jazzed up with dry fruits and rum. Perfect for winter celebrations. Enjoy every bite!

Ingredients


white wheat flour
230 g
margarine
170 g
sugar
170 g
salt
1 pinch
eggs
4 pcs
baking powder
1 tsp
raisins
250 g
rum
1 tbs
dry fruit
150 g

Preparation

  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  2. Whisk together the margarine and sugar.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. During mixing, add beaten egg yolks.
  4. Separately combine chopped dry fruit, raisins, and rum, and add to dough.
  5. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the dough mixture. Pour the cake into a greased baking mould.
