A great and an easy-to-make dessert to serve your guests at the end of a Sunday lunch. Irresistible served with plenty of cream or custard.

Ingredients

For the dough:
white wheat flour
500 g
sugar
250 g
salt
1 pinch
eggs
4 pcs
butter
250 g
milk
120 ml
grated lemon zest
1 pcs
baking powder
1 pack

For the topping:
peeled and cored apples
0.7 kg

Preparation

  1. Whisk the butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat.
  2. Add flour, milk, baking powder, salt and lemon zest, and mix into a dough.
  3. Spread the dough evenly on a greased and dusted baking dish.
  4. Peel, core and cut the apples into slices. Place apple slices on the dough.
