- Whisk the butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat.
- Add flour, milk, baking powder, salt and lemon zest, and mix into a dough.
- Spread the dough evenly on a greased and dusted baking dish.
- Peel, core and cut the apples into slices. Place apple slices on the dough.
