Menu: Brakfast and brunch
Bread rolls are something that children adore. They'll enjoy helping you prepare them, almost as much as they'll enjoy eating them.
Ingredients
Preparation
- Prepare the starter. Add crumbled yeast, flour, sugar and salt into 1 dl of lukewarm water to obtain a smooth mixture. Let rise for approximately 5 minutes.
- Prepare the dough. Add the starter to flour, add oil and salt. During kneading, add lukewarm water and milk.
- Shape the dough into a ball, cover it with a cotton towel and let it rise for approximately 30-40 minutes (until the bread has doubled in volume).
- Place the dough on the work surface and loosely roll it into a long cylinder.
- Divide the dough into 8 sections and shape into oval rolls. Press a deep indentation into the top. As each roll is shaped, place it face down on a baking tray covered with parchment paper, and let them rise in a warm place for another 20-30 minutes. Lightly brush the risen rolls with water.
