More importantly, Gorenje remains the only major home appliance manufacturer in the world to receive this distinction in 2026.

The meaning of prestigious EcoVadis Award

EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. Since 2007, it has assessed over 150,000 companies across global supply chains, evaluating how responsibly they operate in areas like environmental protection, labour practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Platinum Medal is EcoVadis’ highest recognition, awarded to only the top 1% of companies worldwide. It reflects not just short-term efforts, but long-term, integrated sustainability strategies backed by transparent reporting and continuous improvement.
