Roasted red beets with thyme and goat cheese

Prepare yourself a vibrant and healthy snack or a side dish. Jazz it up with goat cheese, thyme and walnuts.

Ingredients

butter
2 tbs
thyme
2 tbs
walnuts
1 fistful
red beets
6 pcs
grated goat cheese
60 g

Preparation

  1. Thoroughly wash the red beets. Without peeling them, place them on a baking tray and roast.
  2. Peel the roasted beets and cut into large pieces.
  3. In a frying pan, heat up the butter and sear the red beet cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Add chopped thyme. Serve with sliced goat cheese and coarsely chopped walnuts.
