Spring Cleaning: The Feng Shui Way

Traditionally, spring also brings spring cleaning. But this time around we will not cover the usual methods and tip+A11:A30s and tricks, but will go deeper, in the traditional sense. It’s time for the Feng shui way of spring cleaning. This spring cleansing technique can create wonders in your energy by nourishing and invigorating you. You are probably familiar with the great feeling when you clean things up after a long time? All of a sudden you feel more joy.

This is what you should try this spring.

Getting rid of clutter
For Feng shui, clutter is the biggest enemy because it holds back poor and stagnant energy, blocking the flow of healthy energy (Chi), and in the same way affects the lives of those who live in clutter. Clutter can cause depression, fatigue, and stress. Therefore, you must get rid of the clutter.

This means getting rid of the garbage inside and outside the house or apartment, fixing the walls, taking care of the garden, a lawn, etc. Your responsibility goes far beyond the walls. Therefore, it is important to pay some attention to the landscaping of your surroundings.
The physical mess is also no good. Dust, cobwebs, crowded items, things off the shelves and cabinets don’t do you any favors. The Feng shui rule is clear: throw away, donate or sell anything you haven’t used in the last six months. Organize cabinets and shelves.

Cleansing emotional garbage
This is probably the most difficult step in the cleaning process but at the same time the most important one. Unspoken things, unresolved relationships, finding fault with others, emotional manipulation, etc. The only person we can change is ourselves. Resolve disagreements, find compromises, take responsibility for your actions and consequences, forgive, repay debts, settle with old friends, ask for forgiveness (even those who may no longer be among us). It will give you peace of mind and allow you to move on.

Remove all negative things that surround you
For better health, get rid of things that block the flow of your energy in the kitchen, on the kitchen elements, and in the fridge. Do not do this with chemicals, but with natural cleansers (use stuff like vinegar, lemon, etc.).

Thoroughly clean and dispose of unnecessary items from the bedroom and bathroom. The same rule applies here too: what you haven't used in the last six months has to go. Clean the windows, space under the bed, decorate your rooms in the spring spirit.

Bring new plants into space. Lush and aromatic herbs such as rosemary and mint can be a nice addition to your kitchen.
